Hard Work

Let's see.....Hard Work.......well for me personally there is one thing in my life that applies to this topic. Ever since I was young I've had a deep connection with music. I was always intrigued by how someone can manipulate a musical instrument to create beautiful sounds and melodies. It wasn't until i got older where i had my 1st experience playing music. My cousin had this guitar....and i was fixated on it and begged him to teach me how to play it....and its all been history from there. Once i felt the fine wood and strings under the fingers of one hand and the smooth plastic of a pick in the other, there was no looking back. Sure enough i had begged my parents for my very own electric guitar. I spent many hours of the day almost everyday perfecting this new found talent i had aquired. When i 1st started, i will admit, i didn't sound too good but i was determined to become one of those people i had idolized as a kid for there mastery of music. As time went by i could feel myself become better and better till one day my parents came to my room one day and sat to hear me play, which will go down as one of the best days of my life. I have learned that if i was determined and put in enough hard work towards something i could achieve anything i really desired.

About Me

Well, this is me. Welcome anyone visiting my blog. Let's start off with who I am; my name is Steven Rimerman, I'm nineteen years old, and I'm attending Crafton Hills College. I'm a very socail person and spend a lot of my time with friends or at the local hookah bar here in Yucaipa. When I have some free time to myself I enjoy playing music, either on my guitars or my piano. I veiw music as a way to express how your feeling or a way to escape from your day to day life. i also enjoy hitting up the gym for a nice work out. Ive been working at the local grocery store Stater Bros. for a little over a year now. I'm paying for my entire education through money I save up from working. I grew up as a military baby and got to see many cool places growing up like Hawaii and North Dakota. My dad finally retired around the time I was nine and I've been living in Yucaipa ever since. My career plans is to get a my Major in Biology and move on to a career with animals, either a Veterinarian or maybe a Zookeeper. My entire life I have had an interest in animals so I figure go with what you know right? Well that's about 200 words so anyone who wants to respond, feel free.
